There are many reasons that I disagree with the existence of Tobacco Company. It’s especially in Indonesia.

1. 1. Produced nicotine in the mass amount that it can make people to die slowly

The company has never written all the ingredients in pack of cigarettes. They always say that they are used to using the best tobacco, but they have never told what are mixing with the tobaco that it can make the taste feeling good. It consists of 4000 chemical materials and about 200 from its poison. The main poisonous in cigarettes are tar, nicotine, and carbon monoxide.

Tobacco company gives the big opportunities for a lot of workers that they can be worked in it. Even though it decreases unemployment but also many people have been dying too because of it. In the fact , 2.5 million people have been dying every year because of cigarettes. Indonesia Health Minister said that dying rate reaches 57 thousand every year. It may be the tobacco company that will stop their operate when nobody is leaving in the world who can buy cigarettes because all of us are already dying. We hope that it won’t happen.

2. 2. Global Warming

One of the factor of global warming caused by pollute of smoke. It likes other company which makes smoke as the ending process of production and so does tobacco company. I thinking of smoke for one day from produce of company is less than the smoke which produce from every single cigarettes that people smoke. When the company increases cigarettes production, the quantity of smoke will be also increasing.

3. 3. Burden Government

It’s dilemma, the government get a lot of income tax from this sector. In other hand of the citizens has to suffer poison. The benefits’ tobacco company can’t give the equal impact that comes with them. Refer to the World Bank in 1999 that Indonesia’s income from cigarettes tax was only Rp 2,6 trillion. In other hand the cost caused the bad impact of cigarettes reaching around Rp 14,5 trillion which are the charge of health medicine recovery, Lame, and the decrease of people productivity.

Cost consequences by smoking habit is too high making the rich country like Australia and New Zealand have made a forbidden order to smoke in all of public places.

4. 4. Decreasing People Productivity

There is an opinion that Indonesian prefer consume cigarettes to protect their health. This opinion proves reality that Indonesian expense cigarettes 100 trillion, but they expense drugs only 20 trillion. It means that many people of their healthy is threatened. If we work with healthy body, we will be more productive. Meanwhile our body are sick, we have just worked lightly, but it’s very easy to get tired, and it doesn’t productive.
